Comvision and InformationsCompagniet merge![]() The two well-established PR agencies Comvision AB and InformationsCompagniet AB merged on September 1, 2011, under the name Comvision. The merger is done by Comvision acquiring InformationsCompagniet. All employees will continue to work within the new constellation. “The time is right to grow and by the acquisition of InformationsCompagniet we become more competitive. With greater resources and broader skills, we are now able to take on more demanding missions from larger and international clients. That's what the market demands of a modern PR agency,” says Lars-Ola Nordqvist, CEO at Comvision. As PR agencies both Comvision and InformationsCompagniet have been active in the PR industry since the mid 90's and worked at a high strategic and creative level. Over the years both companies have successfully worked with everything from large Swedish and international clients and sporting events to small and emerging contractors and non-profit organisations. “We share values and have similar visions, so the decision to merge was a natural step for us both,” says Robert Nyström, CEO at InformationsCompagniet. Initially, Comvision now has twelve experienced PR consultants, but the plan is to continue growth and expand both operations and areas of expertise. Lars-Ola Nordqvist remains CEO of the merged company. Jonas Köpniwsky has been appointed Executive Vice President, and Robert Nyström is Creative Director. The new Comvision is established in InformationsCompagniet’s offices at Bolinders plan 2 on Kungsholmen in Stockholm. We know PR and communicationInformationsCompagniet are specialists in helping companies and organizations create long-term communication strategies and to implement those through a variety of activities and services. The aim is to strengthen our clients' brands and contribute to the development, growth and improved performance. We analyze and provide advice on the profiling and brand image, and help to build up a platform for communication. We have a great deal of focus on media relations, including the creation of events that gives attention in the media. We have considerable experience in public relations, information, journalism and event. Several of us come from leading positions in international companies. Our customers include both Swedish and foreign companies and organisations. Through our international partners, we can also work effectively with public relations and communication outside of Sweden.
